Cloud Attacks and Six Other Cybersecurity Dangers for 2023 and 2024

Fiercer attacks through cloud applications and slicker exploitations of stolen data are emerging threats challenging cybersecurity teams, a new CrowdStrike report found. It also documented adversaries moving faster, with more stealth and sophistication, and introducing new phishing and ransomware twists. This article discusses seven top attack trends identified by researchers from CrowdStrike and Kroll, the CISOs of AWS and Equifax, and several other experts speaking during recent Incident Response Forum and CrowdStrike panels. It also synthesizes experts’ recommendations and tips for companies for adapting to the dynamic threat landscape.
