Understanding Cyberattacks on Digital Asset Platforms

In 2022, $4 billion of crypto was stolen in cyberattacks. These incidents and the response in the crypto and decentralized finance space have much in common with traditional cyber crime, but also several important distinguishing characteristics. In this article, we distill insights shared during a recent Incident Response Forum Masterclass seminar on the crypto crime and threat landscape, relevant terminology, incident response, cooperation with law enforcement and the regulatory landscape.
