Cybersecurity and Privacy Teams Join to Create Data Governance Councils

Ransomware data thefts and regulations are propelling corporate privacy and cybersecurity teams to collaborate on a deeper level. A visible effect of this trend is more companies launching internal data governance bodies to address big-picture concerns about data protection and strategy, lawyers from BakerHostetler and Mayer Brown told the Cybersecurity Law Report.
