Connecticut AG’s Report Highlights Enforcement Risks and Points to Action Steps for Companies

Seven months after the Connecticut Data Privacy Act took effect, the Connecticut AG released a report that identified notable areas of early enforcement focus, including privacy policies, sensitive data, teen data and data brokers. In the report, the AG also advocated for changes to the state’s comprehensive privacy law, which took effect in July 2023, to address weaknesses he has found.
