Understanding the Growing Use of PETs

As new regulations proliferate, privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs) have made their name as tools that minimize personal data use while maximizing data security. PETs provide technical solutions to accomplish the goals of privacy by design. Building them into an organization’s architecture helps it shift to a privacy by architecture approach. This article provides an overview of PETs, how different types of PETs can help preserve data privacy, and how to get resources, as discussed during a panel at the International Association of Privacy Professionals' Privacy.Security.Risk 2023 conference featuring lead privacy counsel from Skyflow, Red Clover Advisors, Okta and Snowflake.
