Guidance on Addressing Compliance Challenges With the Newly Effective E.U. Digital Services Act

The Digital Services Act (DSA), which went into full application in February 2024, introduces a new set of requirements applicable to a broad range of online services. In this guest article, Steptoe attorneys based in the firm’s Brussels office, Anne-Gabrielle Haie and Maria Avramidou, delve into the practical challenges posed by the newly instituted DSA and offer guidance on compliance, as well as commentary on risks of noncompliance and enforcement, and the interplay with the Digital Markets Act.
