Maine Enacts Sweeping Broadband Customer Privacy Law

Continuing the dynamic trend of active state privacy regulation, in June 2019, Maine added to the range of laws organizations need to understand and track. Maine’s Act dictates how providers of broadband internet services must handle sensitive customer information. We analyze key provisions of the Act with insights from Martin L.
